Intimacy wellness is a crucial component of human health and happiness that is fundamental for healthy relationships and family stability. We are very fortunate to live in an era with numerous options to solve intimacy problems affecting millions of people. We believe that functional medicine is the most effective approach to solve these problems and we address it by providing bio-identical hormones balance as well as Libido Boost and Libido Max procedures which use the growth factor within the platelets to rejuvenate tissue. Another approach is the use of laser ablation of vaginal tissue to increase collagen.

FAQ | NON-SURGICAL VAGINAL REJUVENATION
Does the FemiLift treatment hurt, either during the treatment or afterward?
The FemiLift procedure is virtually painless, requires no anesthesia and typically done in under ten minutes.
Are there any side effects I should know about?
Only good ones! Women should be prepared to experience increased vaginal sensation and pleasure following each treatment. Vaginal lubrication may improve and orgasms may become more intense. Associated risks are minimal. Some women may experience a watery discharge or spotting for a day or two. Any concerns will be discussed during your consultation.
How long after giving birth can I undergo treatment?
After a vaginal birth, it would be advisable to wait three months to ensure that any scars from tears or episiotomy have had a chance to heal and the vaginal tone has recovered naturally.
Can I have this treatment if I had a hysterectomy?
Yes.
Is the FemiLift treatment safe for women with breast cancer?
Yes. It is a great option and particularly well suited for patients who cannot receive estrogen therapy.
Am I a candidate if I’m post-menopausal and will I get relief from my vaginal dryness?
In fact, you’re the ideal candidate! FemiLift promotes collagen production and remodeling in the vagina, which in turn results in a return of the rugae, or architecture, that is lost with menopause. Women report improved lubrication and a decrease in pain associated with penetration.
How do I know if I am a good candidate for laser vaginal tightening?
Laser vaginal tightening is safe for most women, including those with other vaginal concerns such as pelvic relaxation, vaginal prolapse, stress urinary incontinence, endometriosis, and pelvic pain.
I suffer from pelvic endometriosis. Can I still have this treatment?
In most cases, the answer is yes. However, If you suffer from intense, deep pelvic pain, your gynecologist may advise against it.
If I have vaginal thrush, will this treatment make it worse?
No, it will not make it worse, but if you are prone to getting thrush, we advise purchasing and using an over-the-counter treatment, such as Canesten, about 2-to 3-days prior to your planned laser treatment.
Will this treatment help or prevent prolapse?
It may help with mild prolapse but is unlikely to prevent prolapse long-term.
Who will be performing the laser treatments?
We call them The V-Team: expert female gynecologists who have received extensive training and certification in the use of the FemiLift™. At your consultation, they will review your symptoms and perform a pelvic exam.
Do I need any treatments beforehand?
No, but you are required to have received a normal pap smear in the past 90-120 days.
Is there any downtime following my vaginal rejuvenation procedure?
You are able to return to normal, daily activities following the treatment but must refrain from sexual intercourse for four days after treatment.
How far does the laser go?
The wand is approximately 1-inch in diameter is inserted into the vagina about 4-6 centimeters. The laser light penetrates about .5 millimeters into the vaginal wall. It is not very deep, but deep enough to reach the level of the skin where collagen is formed.
Can I exercise afterwards?
You can continue most moderate exercises, but strenuous exercises should be avoided for up to seven days.
Can I still have the treatment if I am on antibiotics?
YES.
Will any form of contraception interfere with the results, such as pills or an implant?
No.
Can I have a hot shower or bath or use the sauna after the treatment?
Yes. And it sounds lovely!
Can I have the FemiLift™ procedure if I am menstruating?
It is not advisable to have the procedure during your period as the blood may interfere with the penetration of the laser into the vaginal skin, making it less effective.
How long after treatment can I have intercourse?
You will be asked to abstain from penetrative intercourse for four days.
